This blog has sprung to life, much like Athena from Zeus' forehead, out of the fairness to show the world the whimsy that occurs in the kitchen when the two of us conspire to create something delicious.
More often than not, when our backs are turned to each other at work, I'll hear a "I'm craving..." or a "wouldn't it be awesome if..." or "it is possible to make..." dessert-like statement from my cohort. Her ideas are usually amazing. And delicious.
Challenge accepted? Challenge injected.
So far we haven't gotten too carried away. Salted caramel pretzel cupcakes. A S'more's torte. Bite size pains aux chocolats. And another idea kicking around in my skull, waiting to be given life (for a brief time, anyways, someone's gotta eat around here).
So stick around for desserts to come to life from our corner of the world, documenting the thought process, creating, and consumption of these crazy desserts that just seem to work.
